Call for entries: acrostic writing contest

In honor of Disney's adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, Writing.com and Gotham Writers' Workshop are hosting a free acrostic writing contest. I think it's only open to members of Writing.com, so you'll probably have to join to be able to enter. I've decided to enter and my first draft is nearly complete.

Details from Writing.com are below:
Your challenge is to write an acrostic inspired by the word "wonder." It can be up to 250 words in length. Creativity and cleverness are important. For the prize details and more about acrostics, visit the contest page.

All entries must be received between 12:01AM EST March 1, 2010 and 11:59PM EST on April 30, 2010, the contest deadline. Limit one entry per person. Keep it short but sweet - no more than a title (25 words or less) and up to 250 words. (There is no minimum word count.)

No purchase necessary. Open to members of Writing.com community who are at least 13 years of age on date of entry. Void where prohibited by law.

Judging will be done by Gotham Writers' Workshop staff. Winners will be notified by email no later than May 30, 2010. The decision of the judges is final.

Get more information and submit your entry here.
